MEDNET specializes in Health Information Exchange (HIE) applications, including the MEDNET NHIN Gateway™ and the NHIN Record Locater Service. The MEDNET NHIN Gateway™ is a managed service HIE infrastructure offering, built upon the CONNECT software foundation. The MEDNET NHIN Gateway allows HIEs to connect to NHIN as a managed service, with maintenance, patches, fixes, upgrades, and all support included. The MEDNET NHIN Record Locator Service allows for exchange of clinical data across NHIN. MEDNET has experience and expertise in HIEs and NHIN, and was a technical partner for the trial and limited production phases of NHIN. MEDNET is uniquely positioned in the healthcare interoperability marketplace with industry leading Health Information Exchange (HIE) solutions, HIE specific applications, and NHIN expertise. MEDNET is the NHIN technical partner to the Community Health Information Collaborative’s HIE-Bridge Health Information Exchange. MEDNET is implementing NHIN clinical data exchange with HIE-Bridge for the recently awarded Social Security Administration contract.
