Since the origin of its technology in 1986, PrimeCare has been a leading developer of patient management software. The focus of PrimeCare's work is the creation of an electronic record of the patient - physician encounter. The patient is the key to their medical history yet is often the least involved participant in their healthcare. PrimeCare's premiere product, the PrimeCare™ Patient Management System("the PrimeCare System"), actively involves patients in their healthcare. The Company also develops and markets the E&M CodeComplier™, a documentation analysis module. During the encounter, the E&M CodeComplier continually analyzes the encounter documentation generated by the patient's and physician's use of the PrimeCare System. Using the current CMS (formerly, HCFA) guidelines, the CodeComplier automatically computes the proper E&M coding level.
